The videos were used at trade shows where the new CoinPower A4 was exhibited. We also created an XR version for users on smartphones and virtual reality headsets.
The first video covers events in history and their points of contact with the Varta battery. Be it the battery in the flashlight of Fridtjof Nansen who set out on an expedition to the North Pole in 1869 or in the camera of Neil Armstrong during the first moon landing in 1969, Varta batteries have proven their place in the important moments of history.
We cut 2D layers from existing photos and documents and brought them to life in After Effects to create a 2.5D illusion. Here we used a special parallax technique that makes the flat images more exciting.
In the second video, we cover the applications of the button battery. Here we have combined a 3D tracking shot with 2D motion graphics and set the whole thing in motion again with a virtual camera.
The third video shows the energy density and the composition of the battery. The video is mostly pure 3D with individual text overlays.
